My goals in music
Ages ago when I was a little younger  I realized that country music  should be heard. But I knew there's a lot of prejudice against the music. Lots of people connect it with cowboys, hats and haybales.
As in Holland some DJ' s were offering 60 minutes of country music in one hour and that didn't work out well. Knowing  that the average listener likes to listen to the music but doesn't go out to see the shows or buy the records I had to come up with something different.
I had to appeal to a music buying audience, those who also go out to see the artists.

And that's the youngsters. And I thought that if Rosanne Cash and Southern Pacific do Tom Petty covers, why not play the originals in the same show.
So I did that, considering that it wouldn't hurt as my starting point was country rock and from  there on it's only a small step to guitar rock, folk rock and blues rock.
Make sure the rock fan won't turn away from the country side and the other way around. And as we have a more open mind in Europe it turned out to be a winning formula. I never regretted doing it the way I do as it turned out to be  the perfect format.

As far as country music concerned, I play a lot of Australian music because the music tells you about the land and it's history and is lyricswise far more important than what Nashville does. Acts like Lee Kernaghan, Ann Kirkpatrick, Adam Brand, Troy Cassar-Daley, Kasey Chambers  and The Dead Ringer Band along with Audrey should be heard around the world so I take care of Belgium and Holland and worldwide on the internet.

So here I am, still playing country, folk, rock and blues and having fun.
